Our Artist.
Hear from some of our talented artist
"My piano compositions are peaceful and meditative. I’m inspired by nature as a whole, from the tall mountains of Japan to the running rivers of Scandinavia. I’m all about helping people reclaiming their headspace in a busy but beautiful world"
"I craft my music purely analog, I am deeply inspired by my hometown of Florence, which really comes through in my Lo-fi Beats. Soft spanish guitar, lush analog pads, and my signature dusty hip hop drums"
"My pieces are always recorded on my old crooked piano
the Icelandic nature as both inspiration and audience. I hope my music will bring your guests peace and calm"

Is it illegal to use my personal Spotify as background music at my business?Yes! If a business plays music that hasn’t been cleared for commercial use, it can run into fines and lawsuits. And it wouldn’t be just a slap on the wrist. Fines can range from a few hundred dollars per song, to hundreds of thousands of dollars for broader noncompliance. Plenty of businesses have shut their doors permanently due to legal fallout from playing improperly licensed music. But securing the right licenses is about more than protecting business owners from potential legal action. It also ensures the songwriters, performers, music publishers, and other copyright holders receive royalties. To legally play music in your business also means the artists and bands you play get fairly compensated for their work.

What do you need as a business, to play music at your physical venue?Businesses need three different licenses to legally play music in their physical venue. Recording Rights - This covers the right to use a specific recording of a song. Publishing Rights - This covers the right to use the original composition. Public Performance Rights - This allows you to play the song in a public environment.
-
What rights will Pinetree Music take care of for me?Pinetree Music takes care of the first two for u ( Recording Rights, Publishing Rights) so all you have to do is aquire the Public Performance Rights from your respective countries performance rights organization(s) (PROs) (ASCAP, KODA, OneMusic etc.) *If you need help or guidance optaining the Public Performance Rights, do not hesitate to contact us.
